We take great care and consideration in the packing and preparation of your goods for removal, storage and shipping, but there are many risks beyond your and our control during the international transit or voyage which could result in unexpected loss or damage to your goods.
Our insurance programme has been designed especially for international removals, storage and shipping of household and personal effects, antiques and fine art, and private automobiles, to cover these risks, for your complete peace of mind.
Underwritten by leading insurers, Royal & Sun Alliance Plc
The Policy is underwritten by Royal & Sun Alliance Plc., one of the UK's leading insurers, and administered on our behalf by Jelf Insurance Brokers Ltd.
All Risks Insurance cover
The insurance provides cover for all-risks of physical loss or damage for UK and International transits of your goods, including Maritime, Road and Air Transport risks, and periods of storage whilst in our or our agent's warehouse.
No 'Deductible' or additional fees
Optional NO deductible (excess charge) in the event of a claim; and there is NO separate policy arrangement fee. The premium quoted will include Insurance Premium Tax (IPT).
Prompt Claims service
Should you need to make a claim, it will be dealt with quickly and independently by Jelf Insurance Brokers Ltd. For your convenience, small claims may be settled directly by us on behalf of insurers.
Easy to arrange cover
We will send you our jargon free 'Insurance for your Removal' leaflet setting out 'Key Facts' about our insurance service, a Policy Summary and the Insurer's policy conditions, together with a Proposal Form. All you have to do is list and value your goods on the form and sign the declaration. It's that easy!
